Oh my goodness I did not realise I had Secret in the forest set up in A4, this is no good when it comes to printing with Lulu. I have found over the years it is happier converting A5 manuscripts into paperbacks than A4. This courses a huge problem with the second book as it goes from a nice 169 pages to a whopping 359 😳 That is way too big for me and my fans to cope with, so I am going to split it again into two 5 chapter books, making book two 134 which is fine, but book three will be 227. I will have to check with my dyslexic fans they are all right with this? I think they will be because the chapters themselves are not that long 16 to 26 pages.

I am so pleased Beth you are liking my audio versions of the stories, if there is one you would like me to do, please do not hesitate to ask as I will be happy to you a full audio book and not just the opening chapter. Yeah my little microphone is just awesome I am so pleased with it and now I have a dead cat on it, the audio is sounding even better. You can really hear the difference in the recordings. I am hoping to do another one soon, I will send you a message when it is available ^_^

Just wanted to say how I, as a dyslexic fan, am loving the recorded versions of the book! The kit Babs has to do the recordings on is so professional and I find listening to the books so calming. The quality of the recording combined with Babs’ obvious passion of her books makes listening to them an absolute pleasure. It’s also a much easier way to understand the books as I find reading hard, being dyslexic so the fact that the auto books are available just makes Babs’ library even more accessible.

γ‚γ‚ŠγŒγ¨γ† for your comment Hayley. はい we are do our best to keep the chapters small, which of course reduces the overall page count. γ‚―γƒ’ is doing a fantastic job and we hope to have the first 10 chapters out soon ^_^

Sounds like a fab idea personally, making smaller chapters always helps break it down better :)

Thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments. Jake I am also trying to make sure my books are also great for people with ADHD as a few of my fan also have this and they have informed me because they are gripping they do not realise how the chapter is. Please my all means you are welcome to have a read and let me know if this is the same for you or not. That way I can be sure to keep not only the size of the book down but also the chapter size. This is the thing I'm ok with big chapters as long as they keep my attention and the Elric series is really good for that. I am always considering audio books to make things even easier for some of my readers. I'm just too shy. Even though my editor and fans say I have a lovely voice ^_^ giggle I must try again and get better with my nerves.

To me 350-ish pages isn't a lot. That's usually about the length of my completed books. Though, I go by word count though instead of page count. Which 250 words typically appear on a single page. However. for dyslexic readers, I'm guessing that's a pretty long book? I know just with my ADHD it's difficult to finish books because of their length--but chapter length is even more important. You said you don't make your chapters long---16 to 26 pages. My chapters are usually 8-10 pages. lol.... but then I always have 40 chapter books. Short chapters, even with more chapters, makes it easier to read books for someone with ADHD (I dont know about dyslexic). That's one of the biggest deterrents for me when reading a book... It can be a long book--like Harry Potter 7--but if the chapters are too long---sorry, I'm gonna have to listen to the audio books probably, ya know?

γ©γ†γ‚‚γ‚γ‚ŠγŒγ¨γ†γ”γ–γ„γΎγ—γŸ to all of you that have taken the time to post comments. はい、クヒ is very dedicated to making her fans and me her editor happy. I do my best to help γ‚―γƒ’ to keep everything nice and small, that way it is also easy for me to edit when English is not my first language (笑) We hope to get things sorted soon, please bare with us.

Hi! It's so thoughtful of you to do things your readers would love. I also see it as a good idea to do it. I, myself, prefer shorter chapters even if it would be a thick novel.

Hi. I don't mind the split up. It will only make a faster read. I absolutely admire how you care for your readers. Keep up the good work and I wish you success.

I personally think it's a good idea to spit it, because it would be much more easier to read the book.
